Thank you Corona: For bringing us all together.

Today I won’t talk about the increasing numbers
I Won’t talk about the current panicking situations
Instead, I want to thank corona for coming into our world
Surprised!?
You heard it right
I want to thank corona for stopping the world for a moment
Cause, we get some time to think about what is right
Thank you corona for showing what is very important
Somewhere we lost the touch from the beauty’s of togetherness, family time, hobbies
And above all breathing
Thank you corona for teaching us about the true value of Cleanliness
Once again I blame our busy schedule that we are just brushing off the basic need of our own self
Thank you corona for stopping the transportation,
Our mother earth was crying for a long time,
And begging us to look her wounds
Thank you corona for this fear, it brought the world together
Showed us that we are same
Our feelings and struggles are the same
However, don’t take my thanks as an encouragement
We are warriors
We will fight and win this battle
Will knock you out of this world soon.
We won’t worry and fear about you any more
We will stay home
Think positive
Eat healthily
Enjoy with family
Do chat with who are far
Bring back our passion
Will dance, sing, play music and be merry.
And stay safe and keep our loved one safe
And I’m sure this will definitely irritate you
And you will simply leave our world.

E for Eclipse….

One is calm and still
Another is a burning mill
They are opposites
They are from different world
Like the sun and the moon
He is the sun, warm and furious
And she is the moon, so bright and calm
They both live in solitude
Living in their own world
And on a rare day
They collide…
Leaving their world behind
And fall in love
We call it an eclipse
And they enjoy the loving touch
But their passion was short lived
And they fall apart as they met
But with a hope of meeting again
Someday, somewhere
And when two such lovers meet
They are known and viewed worldwide.

A for Abandon…

Why you left me all alone??
Left me for the other one
See what you have done to me
You turned and left
Leaving me with broken walls of dreams and memories
Your sweet memories…
Once, I was full of life and energy
Gleaming with your love
And standing strong beneath the shining sun
Giving you warmth, care and love of home
Entrusting your laughter and sorrows
Helping you to rest well
And see beautiful dreams
But, when your dreams fulfilled
You left me behind…
Left me alone, shatter and broken
But still I have a hope
Hope, that one day you will be back
Searching for your old memories.

Beauty vs. Worth

A friend drops by my house,
goes to my table and points
at a painting – The curly hair
do not look beautiful on this girl,
consider taking the painting down.

We will not find everything appealing to our eyes,
and we will not satisfy our ears with every voice.
This does not take away from its worth.
So might as well not look and hear
if we cannot discern worth from the beauty.

PS: Again, we are trying out something different and hope you guys like it.

Mirrors Don’t Lie

crying-woman-looking-mirror

Oh mirror! Oh mirror!
Who’s this girl that’s looking at me?
Born out of darkness but grew out of me.
Yet I only see the blurred image mirror spits back at me.

PS: Once we learn to love and appreciate our changing appearance, life opens up in ways we never imagined. Mirrors do not lie, it is just doing what it is made to do. We just have to realize the beauty that is inside us. Gaurav had interesting views after reading my previous poem so we decided to write this out. I hope you guys like it.
