_ Ralph Waldo Emerson

Beauty vs. Worth

A friend drops by my house,
goes to my table and points
at a painting – The curly hair
do not look beautiful on this girl,
consider taking the painting down.

We will not find everything appealing to our eyes,
and we will not satisfy our ears with every voice.
This does not take away from its worth.
So might as well not look and hear
if we cannot discern worth from the beauty.

PS: Again, we are trying out something different and hope you guys like it.

You are the best.

“In the history of the universe, there has been nobody like you and to the infinity of time to come, there will be no one like you. You are original. You are rare. You are unique. Celebrate your uniqueness.”
– Sri Sri Ravi Shankar

You are original, rare and unique
Cause you are just the best
You are beautiful
Beauty is not skin deep
But deeper than the skin
Beauty from within
What you think, you become
What you sow is what you reap
Be the best you can
Be what you want to be
Not what others want to see

Friends for life…

“The beginning of love is the will to let those we love be perfectly themselves, the resolution not to twist them to fit our own image. If in loving them we do not love what they are, but only their potential likeness to ourselves, then we do not love them: we only love the reflection of ourselves we find in them”

“Well, it seems to me that the best relationships – the ones that last – are frequently the ones that are rooted in friendship. You know, one day you look at the person and
you see something more than you did the night before. Like a switch has been flicked somewhere. And the person who was just a friend is… suddenly the only person you can ever imagine yourself with.”

To Trust Someone…

Trust is a five letter word
So beautiful, so fragile
Like growing a flower in the heart
Hoping it would bloom
Without making our heart bleed
So be careful when planting this flower of trust

To trust someone is like giving a piece of our heart
Something so precious and fragile
Hoping it would be safe there
So don’t make the mistake of breaking someone’s trust

When trust shatters
It does not cause a bruise on the skin
The sharp fragments flow along the blood
Tearing up every bit of us from inside
Making it almost impossible to trust someone again cause
The fragments of shattered glass are impossible to put together

Blessings in Disguise…

One of my awesome and best friend wants me to write something to this photo so I tried something with his help. Hope you all like our work.

I see in you my life
Little feet rising and falling
My shinning waiting eyes
Somehow gives a meaning to my whole life
I’m willing to give up on my sleep
Just to feel the pleasure of your kick.
With every passing day
You’re growing little by little.
A bit more strength in your bones.
A sea of excitement in my eyes.

These Golden memories
I will always cherish.
Wonders of fate scribbled
On your curled little palm.
I see you spreading your charm
Like the rays of sun,
And bloom like flowers
In the mid spring.
Oh my ray of hope,
Oh my shining light
However you turn out to be
I will wait to see your expression
On your charming face
When you exist from this dark chamber
And draw my life portion
From the edges of your feet.
