It still okay…

Oh, I love to do Challenges… And I think it’s a way to keep your brain working 😉 This time I’m nominated by my awesome writer friend Prakesh aka PH!! Thank you dear for thinking about me.

Are you in for #ItsStillOkay Challenge?

The task is to write a
Paragraph/phrase/one-liner/poem/story/haiku/photograph/anything-else which ends with the #ItsStillOkay and marks a perfect end to it!

Here is my take with a short poetry:

She still smiles, she still laughs

Her words, spoken never last

She still acts like she didn’t care

Cause, her written words make you scared

Her road of life is long and rough

But she always acts like it’s still okay

Here are the rules:

  1. Copy the logo and description
  2. Write your perspective for #ItsStillOkay
  3. Spread the challenge by keeping open nomination or by nominating at-least five fellow bloggers.

 Here are my Nominations:

Erika, my all time favourite.

Ameena, my beautiful Sis.

Kally, my new friend.

Nimz, Cause I like her name 😉

Diana, my cute friend.

Parting Ways…

I’m trying something different this time.. A collaborate post! The first para of this poem is from my sweet friend Gaurav and second is from Me!
We hope you all like it.

When we decided to walk separate roads,
You took what you had and went left
And I took what I had and went right.
But, later I realized
That I had everything, except you.

But that voice was inside mine
I waited for that unknown shadow
And you carry on with your path
But, time always plays its trick
And I know there is always an another way… Continue reading

Blessings in Disguise…

One of my awesome and best friend wants me to write something to this photo so I tried something with his help. Hope you all like our work.

I see in you my life
Little feet rising and falling
My shinning waiting eyes
Somehow gives a meaning to my whole life
I’m willing to give up on my sleep
Just to feel the pleasure of your kick.
With every passing day
You’re growing little by little.
A bit more strength in your bones.
A sea of excitement in my eyes.

These Golden memories
I will always cherish.
Wonders of fate scribbled
On your curled little palm.
I see you spreading your charm
Like the rays of sun,
And bloom like flowers
In the mid spring.
Oh my ray of hope,
Oh my shining light
However you turn out to be
I will wait to see your expression
On your charming face
When you exist from this dark chamber
And draw my life portion
From the edges of your feet.

Organ(ic) Love…

If you ever wish to love me
Don’t ever love me with your heart, my love
Because I don’t want memories of mine
To thump through you in a beat

If you ever wish to love me
Then love me with your lungs, my love
Because, with every breath you take in
You infuse our love with more oxygen
Giving it a reason to live for another moment

If you ever wish to love me
Then love me with your spleen, my love
Because you may not be able to understand
How or why everything between us works but
You know that I am an important part of your life

If you ever wish to love me
Then love me with my wounded skin, my love
Because not all wounds will heal with time
And not all scars you will be able to see
But your willingness to accept me unchanged will soothe the pain.

It’s Raining Love….

The Birdie is once again happy to announce you all about three more awards. These awards are given to her by her two beautiful friends.

Birdies sweetest and bestest friend Erika from ErikaKind nominated her for a very new and special award Called ‘WAKAWAFU’.

Erika, who is a brilliant writer and I know many of you already know her through her motivational book “I’m Free” however, if not then what are you waiting for…

Now an explanation what this award is about:

This is quoted directly from the award creator, Wakawafu…

“The idea behind this award is to motivate other fellow bloggers and to act as a token of appreciation – just as we ourselves felt motivated and really felt good about what we do. It is a small gesture that we hope goes a long way. One other thing we will be doing, however, when the award is awarded, we will be posting a link to the nominated blogs on our own website, so that people can actually find these blogs. I feel that there are so many awesome people to chat with who are blogging too, and it can be hard to find people easily, so I hope through these people who want to find new bloggers can do so more easily – just comment on the Wakuwafu award page when you receive it and we will put up a link to your blog. The rules of the blog won’t be too long, but they will let you get to know one another more!”

Isn’t it amazing? Everybody needs to be recognized for their work on this blog sphere. Every post is a piece of the person behind. We all give here freely and openly. I am very grateful to be touched by others in their own unique and personal way.

Rules for the award:

  1. Thank the person who has nominated you and provide a link to their blog.
  2. Choose any 3 things you would like to say about yourself to your fellow bloggers.
  3. Answer the 3 questions set by your nominator.
  4. Think up 3 questions you would like to ask the people you nominate.

 My questions for you:

My First Anniversary…

Happy Anniversary with!
You registered on one year ago!
Thanks for flying with us. Keep up the good blogging!

Glad to see this comment in my comment box…

When I came here last year
I was filled with sadness and fear
My days seem to be longer than a year
And I want my feelings to be shared
But, as time passed
Things changed and feelings exchanged
Trying to fly high but pains unchanged
Learning new things and friends cheered
Loving this world of acknowledgement
So, thank you all for this encouragement

This year will not be so beautiful without your support!!
So my Big thank you to all my lovely friends out here 🙂

Thank you and Love to you all ❤
