M for Memories…

Memories are always beautiful
But they are painful too
Moments goes away
But memories always stay
It makes you smile, it makes you cry
And it leaves deep scars
Sometimes you want to delete them
Like old files and photos
Sometimes you want to erase them
Like a bad sketch on paper
Sometimes you want to lock them
Lock in a box and throw it in a basement
But from there also, it scares you
And can come out any day in any way
You cannot delete, erase or lock a memory forever
But you can bury them
Bury them with your coffin

  1. Well written. It is painful for me to know that somewhere at a house in a city in Georgia there is a woman who shares your feelings. She likely still has texts from HUSBAND stored on her phone, telling her beautiful things that were really lies. She likely still has printed copies of the emails he sent, pressed flowers between the pages of books, and cards he sent with a name she thought only she knew as the signature. But the reality is he was full of deception and lies…and the things she holds so dear are really all worthless…I hope this isn’t you, beautiful girl.

    • Oh!! Sad to hear about her. Hope she understand the true value of her own life and which memories to keep and hope she comes out of this phase soon.
I don’t know or not have any connection with this woman, however, I think the points which I want to convey through my poem have a connection with someone or the other in this world.
I’m glad you shared this story with us. And glad you find a connection with it.
Thank you so much for liking my work. 🙂 ❤
