Beauty vs. Worth

A friend drops by my house,
goes to my table and points
at a painting – The curly hair
do not look beautiful on this girl,
consider taking the painting down.

We will not find everything appealing to our eyes,
and we will not satisfy our ears with every voice.
This does not take away from its worth.
So might as well not look and hear
if we cannot discern worth from the beauty.

PS: Again, we are trying out something different and hope you guys like it.

  1. God has placed eternity into the heart of man. A huge longing described as a God shaped vacuum that can only be filled with God. Any efforts to fill the emptiness without God will disappoint. But Jesus said “Seek first the Kingdom of God and His righteousness and all these things will be added to you.”

If you want to connect with awesomeness get this: God says Eye has not seen, ear has not heard, neither entered into the heart of man the things that God has prepared for those who love Him.

God’s commands were not given to cramp our style but to release us to become fully all we were created to be. If we get the very first one down, and that is my prayer for me, “You shall have no other gods before you. You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, with all your mind and all your strength.” Then you will get every other thing right. The result is peace and joy and love and authority. Yes! God inhabits the praises of His people and when we live loving Him first He gives us light for the darkness and keys to set the prisoners free.
