Love.. Ten Sentence, Love..

I was chosen by my lovely friend  Ameena to write a post on “What is Love in Ten Sentences”. And the twist is, each sentence must be composed of four words. Then write your favourite quote on “Love”.

Love Cannot Define…

Love is not weak

Love is not strong

Love is a feeling

Which can be felt

Love cannot hurt you

Love cannot soothe you

Love can please you

With all its heart

Love is so pure

Which cannot be defined

Love Quote…

Love is friendship that has caught fire. It is quiet understanding, mutual confidence, sharing and forgiving. It is loyalty through good and bad times. It settles for less than perfection and makes allowances for human weaknesses.

-Ann Landers

The Rule is to write ten sentences about what is love according to you and each sentence should be composed of four words. Then sum it up with your favorite love quote.

Love should be passed on. So, I nominate the following friends to spread “Love”.

    • Truly a pleasure my dear. I loved doing it though, a challenging one ;).
Actually, have written something else for the theme, but, at the last moment changed it and come up with this… Instant!
I’m glad you liked it so. Thank you, dear 🙂 ❤

  1. You did a wonderful job with the poem. I was also struck by the quote from Ann Landers, which is perhaps the best description of love I have read.

  2. I see from your comments that Love isn;t an easy topic for some while for others it is. 🙂 That was a sweet poem you wrote on love. The quote just enhanced it all. Isn’t it true that love is actually friendship catching fire? Awesome!

    • Love is very complicated for me, Ranju! Some may do understand, but, some don’t and some just pretend to 😉
Indeed! The quote is the best one. And I too loved the term ‘ Love is friendship catching fire’.
      Thank you, dear 🙂 ❤

  3. Paradelle for James

Routine runs to laugh behind the flake-barked tree.

Whitey, my son’s dog, darts to freedom, breaks his heart.
Whitey, my son’s dog, darts to freedom, breaks his heart.
Whitey barked “freedom,” breaks routine, the darts flake.
My son’s laugh, his heart behind, runs to the dog tree.

He is so pure he gets awards that proclaim “angelic.”

Angelic lips proclaim extra weather. He arrives, gets attention.
That cold, so thick: expect awards when he is pure.
He always asks questions that stimulate even this old mind.

When spring arrives we throw balls, talk sports, eat strawberries.

Always stimulate balls that mind strawberries. This spring, when
He asks, throw old questions, mind sports, talk, even eat.
He runs, asks routine questions, gets extra freedom, balls behind
Strawberries’ pure lips. Expect to laugh, Whitey to stimulate
Spring to sports. The flake always arrives. This old dog barked.
Cold weather breaks his heart, thick mind darts, my
Son’s always angelic. Proclaim when tree awards attention.
When we throw, talk, eat, he is so that, he even that.
